I know absolutely nothing about modern admiralty or aviation law scholarship, but when I was in practice at a firm that did a fair bit of admiralty work, one article that got cited constantly was David P. Currie, “Federalism and the Admiralty: The Devil’s Own Mess,” 1960 Sup. Ct. Rev. 158.
