Resume Advice from Moneylaw

At the Moneylaw blog, Jeff Harrison (Florida) shares some thoughts about the impression resumes make in the legal hiring market. His advice seems mainly geared towards lateral candidates, rather than entry level candidates, but some of it is universally applicable. Sensible advice includes: (1) segregate publications so that more significant works are not lumped in with less weighty pieces; (2) in typical Moneylaw fashion, don’t emphasize credentials where those credentials communicate little information.

Interesting to read Harrison’s (online) vita in light of his own advice.
