I’ve created a page (still in beta) where you can make your own graphs based on your own queries about the entry-level hiring report data. The site will generate a graph and, for many of the graphs, also generate a text description of the result.
You can filter by, inter alia, whether someone has a fellowship, clerkship, or higher degree; where they got their initial law degree; the hiring school; the relevant historical rank of the initial law degree; the relevant historical rank of the hiring school; the fellowship school; the clerkship court; and the year of hiring.
You can graph based on the hiring year, the JD school, the teaching subject area, and more.
You can create heat maps that have, for example, hiring year on one axis and hiring school on the other; or initial law school and degree type; or many other combinations.
For many of these types of graphs, the site will also create text that reflects the data in the graphs.
The page will pull from all reported data on the entry-level report, since 2011, through the date as of the most recent draft report.
