From New York, the news today of a 15-year prison sentence for Terraform Labs co-founder Do Kwon, for “his role in a massive fraud that saw roughly $50 billion wiped from the crypto ecosystem over the course of just three days in May 2022,” destroying the savings of large numbers of stupid but trusting Americans and others, and whose arrest came only after a lengthy period on the lam under false identities.
No word yet on whether an official date has been set for his presidential commutation or pardon, or on the expected fee for that service.
